He also wants to ask help from the city council for incentives for new investors and provide discounts for business owners paying their real property tax or business tax in advance to boost the economy and encourage every business to pay their taxes. “I will ask the city council and I hope they will help and allow me to help our people. I will also assure you that the government is always open to listen and to help the people who are in need,” Uy said in the vernacular.
“I think there might be no opposition if the mayor’s direction would not be implementing an increase on the real property tax or business tax because that is for the people who are experiencing problems even if they are business people,” Nacaya said in the vernacular.
