The Rancho Bernardo High product moved into a tie for the farm-system-lead with two blasts, leading Triple-A El Paso to a 10-3 win at Albuquerque. Mitchell’s nine homers match what fellow El Paso outfielder Oscar Mercado’s start to the season. Both are in their first year in the organization after signing minor league deals.
