CALASIAO, Pangasinan — This town’s mayor, Mamilyn “Maya” Caramat, passed away in the early morning hours of Sunday due to a stroke at the age of 53. Caramat, who was on her first term as mayor, died at 12:30 a.m., according to a post on Calasiao’s Facebook page.Her family will later announce details on the wake and interment, the post on the town’s official social media page also said.
