Calbayog City in Samar was placed under a state of calamity due to the effects of severe tropical storm ‘’Paeng’’ on Saturday, Oct. 29.
TACLOBAN CITY – The Sangguniang Panlungsod approved the order declaring a state of calamity in a special session. The declaration enables the city government to access funds for relief and recovery.
A landslide was reported in Barangay Malayog, Tinambacan District, blocking the highway from Allen, Northern Samar.
