The money raised through the Calderwood Primary Summer Fair will be used to benefit the pupils in the school through things such as school trips and new equipment.
The Calderwood Primary School Parent Council raised just under £7,500 in under three hours through their summer fair.

Chair of Calderwood Parent Council Elaine Miller spoke about how much of a success the day was, she said: “We had such an incredible summer fair on Saturday. “A special thanks to all the stall holders, staff and of course all the parents and families that volunteered on the day to make the fair such a success. The team effort was exceptional. We really couldn’t do this without your help.
