Luxury trains will not appear until after summer season, says operator Serco
The troubled Caledonian Sleeper has suffered a fresh setback, with new trains on its Highlands service now unlikely to appear until after the summer holiday season. The flagship overnight train, billed as a hotel on wheels, has been plagued by problems on the lowland route between London, Edinburgh and Glasgow since the introduction of a new £150m fleet.
