Drilling program at Valentine shows potential beyond the known resources

Calibre Mining said it discovered new gold mineralisation in a 1000m corridor outside of its current mineral resource for the Valentine gold mine in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.The discovery is part of a 100,000m drilling program focused on finding new gold mineralisation beyond the known resources. Calibre said the results show promising gold grades and the potential to expand resources.

"Furthermore, ongoing drilling northeast of our Marathon deposit is uncovering promising opportunities and identifying several new, high-priority targets for exploration. We are excited about what lies ahead and look forward to sharing more information as we continue the expanded multi-rig drill program and progress construction completion."Construction of the Valentine project is now 85% complete, with the first gold expected in the June quarter of 2025.
