The entire membership of the Bakersfield, California, chapter of the Hells Angels motorcycle gang was arrested Tuesday on a bevy of charges. A seventh person being charged was already in custody.
The Kern County Sheriff’s Office arrested Ricardo Alvarez, 42; Armando Villasenor, 55; Joseph Soto Sr., 57; Joseph Soto Jr.; 33, Joshua Zavala, 31; and John Seeger, 57. Joshua Vaughn, 37, was already in custody. All seven men are Bakersfield residents.
All seven have been charged with kidnapping, false imprisonment, first-degree robbery, assault with a firearm, criminal threats, criminal conspiracy, participation in a criminal street gang, intimidation of a witness or victim and elder abuse, the sheriff’s office said in aMr. Alvarez, Mr. Villasenor, Mr. Soto Sr., Mr. Soto Jr., and Mr.
In addition to the arrests, eight search warrants were executed around Bakersfield, turning up around 25 guns, ammunition, high-capacity magazines and gang paraphernalia. The arrests were made following a joint investigation by KCSO, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the California Highway Patrol. The charges against the seven men have been sent to the Kern County District Attorney’s Office.
