Organisers say the exhibitions, films and performances all focus on the history of Cambois.
The festival includes a dance performance telling the story of the Cambois women who helped launch the lifeboat
Cambois Hidden Depths will feature events at venues across the Northumberland village, including dance, film screenings and photography exhibitions. Kathryn Row, from the theatre group November Club, said: "This is a chance to show off the amazing heritage and community spirit of Cambois."Its long history as a coal mining village ended in 1968 when Cambois Colliery closed
