It would also mean that the Cambridges would have to return to London from their Norfolk home Anmer Hall, where they have been spending lockdown. @theroyalcrown tweeted: 'This is a tough situation b/c William and Catherine will be criticized no matter what they decide. They should do what they think is best for their children and family. They're in Norfolk right now and it makes sense to stay put, stay together & continue to school at home in June.'
While it remains to be seen what the Cambridges will do regarding Charlotte's education, the government's decision to send children back to school has been met with stern criticism from teaching unions, ministers and local authorities over whether it's safe to do so.
