The police action covers the entirety of Cambridgeshire amid fears of dangerous driving.
Police concerns over a car meet and anti-social driving have prompted a dispersal order covering the whole of Cambridgeshire.
The meet was due to go ahead in Peterborough on Saturday night, with the order in place from Friday night until 07:00 GMT on Sunday.Sgt Connor Hall said the events could cause "misery" locally, with excessive noise, dangerous driving and littering. "We have received information that a planned car meet which was due to take place in Bedfordshire has been re-arranged to meet at Cambridge services on the A14 and travel up to Peterborough's Apex car park near the city centre," he added.
"We will have extra patrols in place across the known hotspot locations for these meets over the weekend to enforce the dispersal order."
