Princess Kate is “thrilled by all the kind wishes and support” after sharing her cancer news, Queen Camilla has said.
Queen Camilla has publicly shared an update on how Princess Kate is doing, following the sad news the royal is battling cancer.During her solo outing, Camilla was met by wellwishers who were desperate to send their best wishes to Kate, 42.
She has been absent from royal duties since January when she underwent planned abdominal surgery at The London Clinic.In the moving clip, Kate she said her diagnosis was a “huge shock” but vowed she was “going to be OK”.The 76-year-old has also been Charles’ “rock” following his own cancer shock and wants to be as supportive for Kate.
King Charles has also rallied around his daughter-in-law as someone who can understand what she’s going through following his own cancer diagnosis earlier this year.Kate was keen to speak to the monarch about his struggle and find out how he was coping. “They would have had lots to discuss and share because just weeks earlier the King had begun his course of treatment and dealt with announcing his diagnosis.
