Camilla is elegant at Ascot as she's set to 'take over Queen's racing interests' Camilla
Camilla, Queen Consort and wife of King Charles III, was seen attending Ascot on Saturday, 15 October, and the event was one of the favourites of the late Queen Elizabeth.
The late Queen Elizabeth II was known to be a big fan of horses and racing, and she was often seen attending events at Ascot.Now, Camilla is said to be pipped to "take over the reins" of the favourite interest of the fomrer Monarch – racing. Camilla and the Queen shared a close bond in their latter years, and the Queen made an unprecedented announcement in February, just seven months before she died, as she made it her wish for Camilla to become Queen Consort when King Charles ascended the throne.
Camilla said it was a "great honour" to be given the title of Queen Consort, as she said that she hoped the role will enable her to highlight the work she does for a number of causes she supports.
