Save Kirkcudbright Hospital Action Group has issued a renewed plea for the facility, mothballed in 2019, to be reopened
Campaigners believe reopening Kirkcudbright Hospital could help ease some of the pressures on the region’s health and social care system.
That has led to Save Kirkcudbright Hospital Action Group once again calling for the facility – mothballed in 2019 due to the coronavirus pandemic – being reopened. “We know that the population is growing older and living longer and Kirkcudbright Hospital has a vital role in providing services, that could and should be being done now.
