Black people are four times more likely to be sectioned compared to white people. Major reform of the Mental Health Act is going through parliament - but campaigners fear proposed changes will do little to improve the system. vsmacdonald reports.
One reason? The number of people detained under the act – people who are disproportionately from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds.
