's professional boxing career is in huge jeopardy in the very early stages as he was beaten again by Jimmy Joe Flint on Saturday night in Manchester.The 23-year-old took himself down to London to work with Barry Smith and Ben Davison in response, then signed to rematch his old foe.The fight began with a scrappy first round as Flint appeared initially more accurate.

Despite his corner imploring him too, Hatton seemed unable to apply consistent head movement in the middle rounds.Hatton battled on regardless and as they entered the final few rounds of the ten-round contest, it seemed as though it could go either way.The judges therefore awarded him a unanimous decision victory with scores of 97-94, 96-94 an 96-95.
Hatton is now 14-2 and facing a long, long road back to major relevance in the boxing world following this second crushing defeat.
