Mr Hill asked ChatGPT for a rundown on recent reports about the use of AI in students cheating, as well as a two-minute explanation about the risks and benefits posed by the technology. “AGI also raises significant ethical and moral questions, such as who is responsible when a machine or algorithm causes harm or makes a decision that is harmful to individuals or society,” ChatGPT also said, noting the risk that it could be used for “malicious purposes” like cyberattacks or disinformation campaigns.
