There is already a tacit admission from Djokovic that something has to change. He has split with long-time coach Goran Ivanisevic, changed almost all of his backroom staff and most recently brought Murray into the fold. It is not quite a move of desperation, but it is not far off.There is definitely still time for Djokovic to win a 25th slam, with his summer gold in Paris my main reasoning.
It is probably the Australian Open, French Open or bust. Melbourne is a happy hunting ground for Djokovic despite Sinner winning there in 2024, and though Alcaraz won the French it was Djokovic who tasted victory at Roland Garros more recently – at the Olympics.
