Amidst the looming possibility of a U.S. ban on the popular video-sharing app TikTok, influencers have found themselves grappling with the potential ramifications on their careers and livelihoods.With 150 million users in the U.S., it is clear that there are many fans of TikTok, but for influencers it's more than another social media platform—it's the cornerstone of their online presence, a crucial avenue for audience engagement and a significant source of income.
'Now I have to figure out which social media platform I have to like scroll on and find ideas,' he said. 'And that's super hard too because TikTok has the best algorithm out of all of them.'Maks Majewski shares content on TikTok under the handle @thatguymaks where he has 2.8 million followers. Majewski makes videos on everything from Fortnite to pranking his parents. Despite being based in the U.K., he is still concerned about the impact of a U.S. TikTok ban.
