The musician Stormzy set up the MerkyBooks festival with the aim to spark a literary passion in young people. cathynewman went down to the event to speak to some of the authors about their work.

Now the musician Stormzy says he wants to spark a passion in young people who have never considered a future in the creative arts.

This weekend his publishing company Merky Books has been running a festival of literature at London’s Roundhouse, showcasing established names as well as fresh new voices.
