AFL: AFL 360's Joran Lewis believes Carlton's body language is not a good sign for the team moving forward.

Four-time Hawthorn premiership player Jordan Lewis has made note of the “ body language ” of injured Carlton players on Sunday afternoon that indicated Michael Voss ’ side had conceded defeat to Hawthorn well before the final siren .

Watch every game until the 2024 AFL Grand Final LIVE with no ad-breaks during play on Kayo. New to Kayo?, Lewis believes that their year is now on the cusp of being wasted, as holes continue to appear in their premiership tilt. But deeper than the scorecard and injuries, came into question the body language of injured players Jack Martin , Charlie Curnow , Lachie Fogarty , Adam Saad and Jordan Boyd – who were all ruled out before the final siren with their respective injuries.

“Good sides, they’re not showing there’s a level of disappointment; they are buying in 100 per cent until the final siren goes. I thought they were defeated yesterday, both on the field and off the field.
