Universal Credit is a payment which those who receive may greatly rely on. It may be available to those who are on low income or who are out of work, and need help with their living costs. After entering a claim, it can take around five weeks to get the first payment. This includes a four-week assessment period, as well as up to seven days for it to reach one’s account.Universal Credit is then paid once per month, on the same date each month.
