A 14-year-old boy, a mother-of-two, a 77-year-old widower and an emergency service worker have been identified as some of those killed.in an indigenous community and a nearby town in Saskatchewan province.In a televised statement, Canadian Prime Minister Mr Trudeau described the stabbings as"shocking and heartbreaking"."The priority is keeping you and your loved ones safe so please be careful."Sadly over these past years, tragedies like these have become all too common place.
Myles Sanderson has been"unlawfully at large" since May when a local crimestoppers appeal was issued in a bid to trace him. Michael Brett Burns, who had two daughters with Ms Head, wrote:"You will be missed dearly Lana. Thank you for beautiful daughters and granddaughters. Love."Speaking to the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network, Mr Burns said:"It's sick how jail time, drugs, and alcohol can destroy many lives. I'm hurt for all this loss.""She was butchered... with her friend and a 14-year-old boy, all three of them," Ivor Burns said.
