Chris Evans and Ken Brinsden cut their teeth at Pilgangoora, now they are looking to do it all again
Almost 10 years ago, Chris Evans and Ken Brinsden used to work on opposite sides of Western Australia's world-class Pilgangoora lithium deposit, and they each have the scars to prove it.Evans was chief operating officer of Altura Mining and Brinsden was managing director of Pilbara Minerals – owners of different parts of the deposit.
There's a lot that could change next year when a nationalist administration takes control of the US, potentially sparking a global trade war with the threat of tariffs and Canadian energy supplies to the south being cut in retaliation, but Brinsden thinks rationality will prevail.He said it just made sense to connect some of the world's best lithium resources in Canada to the new chemical plants being built in the US.
