Canadian man to stand trial after wife alleges abuse during family's Afghan kidnapping
A Canadian man who was kidnapped in Afghanistan and held hostage for five years with his wife and children is due to go on trial on Monday for 19 offences including sexual assault, unlawful confinement and uttering death threats. He has pleaded not guilty to all the charges.
