The research projects are creative, innovative and based on cutting-edge technologies such as CRISPR/Cas9 screenings, single cell sequencing, development of chimeric antigen receptors, use of primary patient samples and in vivo mouse work. The lab is funded by a NIH/NCI R37 MERIT award and additional grants from the National Cancer Institute as well as sponsored research agreements from industry.
