A Canyon Lake woman has been sentenced to life in prison for her role in the 2017 murder of a Comal County man, according to the sheriff’s office. A Comal County jury convicted Maryanne Shipley , 46, of capital murder in the slaying of Glenn Douglas Larssen , 56, of Canyon Lake . Shipley was sentenced to life in prison without parole, according to the Comal County Sheriff’s Office. Shipley is the third person convicted in Larssen ’s death.
Kerr County man charged with murder in wife’s shooting death In November 2017, Larssen was found dead at his home on Rambling Drive in Canyon Lake. He had been shot multiple times, according to officials. His neighbors reported hearing gunshots around 4 a.m. that day, according to the sheriff’s office.
