Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT In the wake of Blood Hunt, Captain America is recruiting a new team of Avengers designed to tackle the biggest threats. Coming later this summer, Avengers Assemble will bring together a diverse group of heroes, some joining the team for the first time. Under the leadership of Captain America Steve Rogers, this new Avengers squad promises to be the most exciting and dynamic Avengers title yet.
As reported on Marvel’s website, Avengers Assemble, which will be written by Steve Orlando and drawn by Cory Smith, spins out of Blood Hunt. In that event, Captain America put out a call for volunteer Avengers to handle the vampire crisis. In the aftermath, Captain America realized the need for a squad with greater reach and scope, and thus created the Avengers Emergency Response Squad.
