Hannah Ingram-Moore said her father wanted the family to keep the money from book sales.
The daughter of Captain Sir Tom Moore admitted her family kept profits from three books he had written - reported by The Sun to be £800,000.
“He had an agent and they worked on that deal, and his wishes were that that money would sit in Club Nook, and in the end…”Sir Tom - who died in February 2021 - became a famous charity fundraiser during the first national Covid lockdown. In a clip released ahead of the interview, Ms Ingram-Moore said the family had received death threats.Ms Ingram-Moore also told TalkTV she was paid £18,000 for attending the Virgin Media O2 Captain Tom Foundation Connector Awards in 2021 — when already being paid as chief executive of the body.
