Captain Tom Moore responds to The Weeknd after singer backed him for the number one chart spot with his charity single 'You'll Never Walk Alone'.
has just thanked The Weeknd for backing him to reach the number one spot today with his charity single. The 99-year-old WWII veteran teamed up with Michael Ball on charity single 'You'll Never Walk Alone', and the song had been on course for the top spot, but The Weeknd's latest single 'Blinding Lights' has been catching up. According to BBC Radio DJ Scott Mills, at one point there was just 18,000 chart sales between the two tracks.
