A member of staff at the Premier Inn remains in hospital with serious injuries, police say.
A Renault Captur smashed through the front of the hotel and into the foyer on Friday nightA hotel worker has been seriously injured after a car crashed through the front doors into the reception area.
Suffolk Police was called at 20:05 GMT on Friday to reports a Renault Captur had entered the foyer of the Premier Inn on Etna Road, Bury St Edmunds. A member of staff, a man in his 20s, sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital, where he remains. The driver of the car, a woman in her 50s, was not injured and the entrance to the hotel has since been boarded up.
