The East of England Ambulance Trust was told to stand down and therefore did not attend.
It came after two other vehicles were on fire along the M25 between junctions 24 and 25 causing up to six miles of congestion. A spokesperson from the London Fire Brigade said they were called at 2.36pm and the fire was brought under control by 2.54pm. Two fire engines from Enfield Fire Station and a fire engine from Hertfordshire Fire & Rescue Service attended the scene.
