A coastguard spokesperson said: "Aberdeen Coastguard Rescue Team was sent to a report of a car going onto the beach at the Esplanade, Aberdeen. "HM Coastguard was informed at about 5.45pm on January 7. Police Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance Service were also alerted."
