Cara Delevingne is starring as Sally Bowles in ‘Cabaret’ in the West End. To celebrate her London stage debut – watched by Anya Taylor-Joy, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and James Corden – she wore Prada for the after-party.
Willkommen, bienvenue, welcome to Cara Delevingne’s Kit Kat Club! The model and actor is flexing her musical theatre muscles, making her stage debut in the role of Sally Bowles in London’s West End. Following the show’s press night – which saw Anya Taylor-Joy, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Simone Ashley and James Corden taking their seats in the audience – Delevingne and her cast-mates celebrated the start of the run.
Leaning into the show’s gender-bending fashion, she opted for a piece from Prada’s spring/summer 2024 collection: a strong-shouldered blazer with a deep V-neck, tucked into paper bag micro-shorts, cinched at the waist with a black leather belt. While the original look came down the runway styled with a latex skull cap, squash goggles and square-toed Oxfords worn with black socks, Delevingne feminised the look, and brought it closer to Cabaret’s origins.
