A notice has been issued after caravans appeared on the Active Copley car park
Caravans have pitched up on a gym car park in Tameside . The 'traveller' camp appeared on the grounds of the Active Copley site, Stalybridge, on Monday .
Tameside Council have confirmed that police have issued a notice to the travellers, telling them to leave by 6pm on Tuesday . The notice will be enforced if they do not voluntarily leave.The fitness club has also put extra security in place to 'reassure customers and staff' as police and the council deal with the situation.
