Carden Park, a luxurious Cheshire countryside hotel, has completed a £6.5 million refurbishment of twenty bedrooms, signaling the start of a multi-million pound plan to revamp all rooms by spring 2025. The hotel also received prestigious awards, including three rosettes for its restaurant, The Vines, and 'Spa of the Year' at this year's AA Hospitality Awards.
A luxury countryside hotel has unveiled the results of a £6.5 million refurbishment to its bedrooms. Carden Park, nestled in the Cheshire countryside, is a country estate which boasts a sprawling 1,000-acre location, featuring two golf courses, a state-of-the-art spa, its very own vineyard, and restaurants. Twenty of the bedrooms have been renovated, offering a fresh new look - with all rooms set to be fully refurbished by spring 2025 as part of the multi-million pound plan.
This year, Carden Park’s The Vines restaurant was awarded three rosettes at the prestigious AA Hospitality Awards. It is one of only four within the Cheshire region to receive the accolade. The AA's inspector said of The Vines: 'Subtle shades of cream and warm whites, discreet lighting and well-spaced, linen-clothed tables make for an elegant setting to enjoy the finely tuned contemporary dishes. The wine list includes bottles from their own vineyard.' Executive Chef Graham Tinsley MBE and Head Chef Harri Williams have created a seasonal à la carte menu with locally sourced ingredients. Executive Chef Graham Tinsley MBE said: “I’m really proud of our team at The Vines. Having only been open for three years, this is a great achievement, and we look forward to continuing to make delicious, seasonal menus that celebrate the locality.” Head Chef Harri Williams said: “We always aim to source ingredients within the UK island and as local as possible, keeping products that are in season on the menu. We’re particularly proud of our Welsh Beef and Lamb - the quality is second to none because of the type of pastures they are raised on. Their diets are high clover and more wild which has a huge effect on the flavour and results we can have from using them within our menus.” Carden Park’s impressive spa also took home ‘Spa of the Year’ at this year’s AA awards
