Cardi B wins Paris Fashion Week in head-to-toe floral Richard Quinn outfit PFW
Cardi B has made straightforward appearances on the front row at Fashion Week before, but this season she decided to make much more of an event out of her arrival.
The rapper made her Paris Fashion Week entrance covered head-to-toe in a floral Richard Quinn outfit. And we’re talking literally,Stepping out in front of the the sunshine-soaked Eiffel Tower, the Bronx rapper confirmed that the floral head covering is as difficult to see through as it appears.
By choosing Paris to showcase the look, Cardi B also drew attention to the country’s controversial laws on full-face coverings. Since 2011 it has been illegal to wear “any article of clothing intended to conceal the face” in public spaces - a ban that affects women wearing full-face Islamic veils. It is almost a year since the UN declared the law to be a violation of human rights.
