The rookie wide receiver's jerseys have yet to hit the market because of the hold-up with Fanatics and Harrison not signing his NFLPA licensing agreement because of it.
Arizona Cardinals rookie wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. is now involved in a lawsuit filed by Fanatics on Saturday in which the brand states that he breached his contract that was agreed upon in May 2023.
Harrison signed an NIL deal with Fanatics while playing college football at Ohio State, but the two sides negotiated a further deal last May, which outlined various obligations for the wide receiver to fulfill. In the suit,The lawsuit states that Harrison's father, former NFL receiver Marvin Harrison Sr., asked for Fanatics' contract right before the 2024 NFL draft. Right after that, Harrison Sr., who acts as his son's agent, told the retailer they no longer had a deal.
The lawsuit lists "The Official Harrison Collection LLC" as a defendant, which is a website that Harrison is selling signed gear from, including photos, jerseys and helmets. Fanatics also states that Harrison claimed other companies made better offers to him, and he wanted Fanatics to meet or surpass those offers, but he never shared specific details of the other companies.because he has yet to sign the NFLPA licensing agreement. The hold-up on him signing was because of the battle with Fanatics, which seemingly has brought on this lawsuit.
