Care home worker Tatianna Dancy claims she was pressured into returning to work at a care home despite having coronavirus claims she has been bullied into returning to work at a facility where five patients died of Covid-19. Tatianna Dancy says she has been pressured to return to her job at the Cedar Mountain Post-Acute Rehabilitation in Yucaipa, California, which currently has tributes to its coronavirus victims placed outside.
‘I then told him, excuse me, the residents tested positive for Covid-19, so I told him no I’m not coming in to do laundry, are you kidding me? I then got another call from payroll saying if I don’t come in, I’m abandoning my job.’Dancy says her employers refused to test her for coronavirus, forcing her to have the swab examination performed privately. She says she was pressured into returning even after the Cedar Mountain center saw 75 coronavirus diagnoses and five fatalities.
The mom is also home-schooling her children, and says battling coronavirus while worrying about work and her young family has left her even sicker with stress.
