CARE homes are waiting 15 days for coronavirus test results with staff fearing another wave of deadly outbreaks, according to reports.
She added: "I can't believe they didn't envisage that there would be an increase in demand for tests and results in a timely manner as lockdown was eased. Ms Ahmed now says many care homes are unprepared to accept Covid-19 positive patients from hospital — and will struggle to effectively isolate them.
