Former social care worker Mori Lawarsho told a care home resident to 'hurry up, you sp****c' at Kinning Park Care Home in January 2023, and also shouted at a resident suffering from dementia.

A former Glasgow carer has been struck from the register after shouting at residents and using 'offensive' and 'completely unacceptable' language towards people in her care.

In a report published Friday , the SSSC panel told Lawarsho: "You abused the trust placed in you by residents, their families, your employer and the SSSC." Lawarsho worked at Kinning Park Care Home between August 17 2022 and June 8 2023. The panel described Lawarsho's smoking of an e-cigarette while assisting residents as "not professional and unacceptable" as it subjected a resident to passive smoking and "placed supported individuals at risk of physical harm."
