Carlos Yulo dazzled the stage once again by snagging two gold medals in the Asian Senior Gymnastics Championships in Doha, Qatar Saturday night.The 21-year-old displayed world-class performances in vault and parallel bars to rule both apparatus and bolster his bid for another world title in the FIG World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Liverpool, England in November.
South Korea’s Kim Hansol and Japan’s Shiga Tachibana scored a similar 14.417 but the Korean took home the silver after the tiebreak. It was a successful campaign for Yulo as he also went home with the individual all-around silver and the floor exercise gold.
