Gilas Pilipinas guard Scottie Thompson looks to pass during their game against Lebanon on Friday, Feb. 24, at the Philippine Arena.
“I think the Philippines could be proud that they are hosting, or one of the hosts of the 2023 FIBA,” said Anthony at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. “I think from that standpoint, that says a lot. That’s also gonna propel the Philippines down the line when it comes to actually continuing the development of the game of basketball,” added Anthony.
