Marine Rescue Carnarvon , paramedics, and a local doctor went to the aid of an ill sailor at sea.Volunteers have recounted the rescue of a yachtsman with suspected appendicitis off the Western Australian coast on Saturday, which involved a local doctor swimming to reach the ill sailor.
"The information we got was there was a guy and he had suspected he'd had done something to himself internally," he said. The man had set sail from Carnarvon, 895 kilometres north of Perth last week, and was heading south to Geraldton when he called for help. "We managed to get him down in the water and pull him back across with the rope in the water and get him on board our boat," Mr Andreoli said.
The lack of wind meant the crew who were going to sail the man's yacht back to Carnarvon had to stay overnight until conditions improved. When Florence fell pregnant her one-night stand hated her.
