BBC Breakfast weather presenter Carol Kirkwood opened up how her wedding with her husband Steve Randal, who she married in December last year, was 'almost ruined'
BBC weather presenter Carol Kirkwood has opened up about her "perfect wedding day" on The One Show. The 62 year old TV star tied the knot for the second time with police officer Steve Randal last December. Although the day was perfect, the weather was not on the couple's side.
Anita started off by praising Carol's new book: "You've given us a reason to put down our phones. You have a new novel set in Venice with three women in one of the world's most romantic places." The focus swiftly turned back to Carol's own romantic journey when Alex chimed in: "Your real life Carol has been quite romantic since we last met. You got married in December, you say the weather wasn't on your side, which is terrible when you're booking a wedding but you looked super happy and super beautiful."
"It was the perfect day, it was a small intimate wedding, it was beautiful and very romantic," gushed the bride about her big day.
