Carol Vorderman returns to BBC's Have I Got News For You after 20 years.
Carol Vorderman has hosted the show since 2019 Carol Vorderman claims she was sacked from her BBC Radio Wales presenting gig by the broadcaster after she breached their new social media guidelines. The star has hosted the show since 2019, but just announced that because she has breached the new guidelines, ‘BBC Wales management have decided must leave’. The 62-year-old is known for writing political opinions on X, formerly Twitter, often criticising the Government.
In August, she called for Home Secretary Suella Braverman’s resignation after the MP took to social media with ‘thoughts and prayers’ for those who died crossing the Channel – with the politician also supporting controversial proposals on the matter. The Countdown star wrote in response that Braverman was the ‘very worst of the worst’ and ‘utterly undeserving’ of her position. ‘You decry everything that has been good in this country during my lifetime, seeking to cause division at every turn.
