In a lengthy Instagram post he wrote: "I want everyone to know the kind of guy I saw in Mike. A person just died. A friend just died. Someone that I know in my heart of hearts I could have done more for.
"We shared some amazing memories together, from our trip to Scotland where we passed out together in bed When we had to double date and you gave me a pep talk about kissing my date for the first time. It's the biggest killer of people under the age of 35, more deadly than cancer and car crashes. And men are three times more likely to take their own life than women.
