A cancer patient from Carstairs who lost an eye will be taking part in an annual 10k walk to raise funds for the Beatson Cancer Charity .

However, as time was going on it was spreading, and it had spread to the back of the eye and into the bone.”
The Lanarkshire man decided to take part in the walk to give something back following the support and treatment he has received. “Beatson Cancer Charity are always there for me if Cath or I are having a bad day, and we appreciate that as The Beatson are giving us strength to continue.”
