And according to the Scottish Sun, Carter-Vickers is 'set to miss the Rangers fixture.' There's more worries for boss Rodgers too as "there are major fears the influential USA defender could face an extended period out after being forced off at Aberdeen last weekend." Already, Stephen Welsh is facing an extended period on the sidelines although new signing Gustaf Lagerbielke has eased one selection issue at the back after Carl Starfelt's departure.
