Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice! Rewind 35 years ago to 1988 and this trio of words were hot on the lips of movie fans everywhere thanks to the summer release of the hit comedy-horror film with the same namesake.
The film follows all-American couple Barbra and Adam Maitland , who, following a car crash, discover they have actually died. What followed the movie was a spin-off cartoon series that aired from 1989-1991, a series of video games, and a Broadway musical, so it’s unsurprising that at long last we’re looking at a sequel.
Winona Ryder An icon for goth girls everywhere, a young 15 year old Winona Ryder played teenager Lydia Deetz and made white make-up, black clothing and a sassy attitude cool. Geena Davis Geena went on to great success after playing the innocent and loving role of Barbara Maitland and has openly spoken about how she would love to reprise her character.
More recently though, Alex has been navigating the fallout from the accidental shooting and death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on set of his upcoming film, Rust.
